These are essential jobs within these organizations and the need for highly skilled, capable and experienced cloud technologists is expanding rapidly. These �mission critical� jobs are vital to the operation and success of every entity.
As a Cloud technologist, you will be "changing the wheels on a moving car". The organization will depend upon your talent and skillset. There are significant emerging opportunities for men and woman with such skills.
Our program is not like any other training class you have taken before, but the challenge is unlike any you may have ever faced. To train you for this mission, we have instituted solid structural enablers.
Some defining elements of our Program:
1.) The training will done by NCTA-certified instructors.
2.) Classes will be held in NCTA Authorized Training Partner Universities/Colleges or at corporate training facilities within the markets we serve.
3.) All classes will be in computer labs. If you have a laptop, we encourage you to use it.
4.) Class size will not exceed 20 students.
5.) The first session will be a full Saturday, followed by eight 3-hour sessions on weeknights. e.g. Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur 6:30-9:30 PM.
6.) Each evening session will have 2 learning modules of 80 minutes each with a 20-minute break in between.
7.) Each learning module will have 30 minutes of theory, 30 minutes of lab exercises and 20 minutes to recap.
8.) There will be homework for every class, due by midnight the following Sunday (same week).
9.) Your work will need to meet corporate standards - you are being trained to succeed in a corporate setting, and you have to imagine at all times that your output will be reviewed by your supervisors and peers. Thus, it has to be well written, thoughtful and insightful.
10.) Homework will be submitted via a portal.
11.) It will be automatically checked by Turnitin software. Copy and paste will be automatically caught by our filters, and after one warning, repeat offenders will be referred to NCTA's founding members for proper handling as per our policies.
12.) Students need to successfully complete each homework assignment before appearing for the final exam.
13.) The Final Exam will be online.
14.) You need a passing grade to earn the Certificate of Completion for each Module.
15.) A 70% grade in each of the final exams for the three modules will automatically grant you the rights and privileges of a certified CloudMaster.
16.) If you do not have 70% in each module, you can take the CloudMaster Exam. Fees apply.
